EmbedHQ is a set of AI skill files you upload directly into Claude. Once loaded, the skills are available in any conversation — type a slash command like /idea-validator or /baas-selector and Claude runs the full expert workflow on your product.
Setup takes about 5 minutes. Here's exactly how to do it.
Download your files
After purchase you receive an email with a Download Your Files → link. Click it to open the download portal, then download each skill as a ZIP file.
You'll see one download button per skill — click each one to save the ZIP to your computer. You can also grab the full bundle ZIP if you want everything in one download.
Download link expires after 48 hours. Save your files somewhere permanent — ~/Documents/EmbedHQ/ is a good spot. If your link expires, email support@embedhq.ai and we'll resend it.
Unzip the bundle, then re-zip each skill folder individually
If you downloaded the full bundle ZIP, unzip it first. You'll see 10 folders inside — one per skill:

Each folder needs to be zipped individually before you can upload it. On Mac: right-click a skill folder and choose Compress "skill-01-idea-validator". This creates skill-01-idea-validator.zip. Repeat for each skill you want to install.
Why zip individually? Claude reads the SKILL.md file inside each ZIP and uses it to load the skill with all its reference files. Each skill needs to be its own ZIP for Claude to register it correctly.
Upload each skill into Claude
Open the Claude desktop app and navigate to the Skills panel:
Select the first skill ZIP file (e.g. skill-01-idea-validator.zip). Claude will read the SKILL.md file inside and register the skill.
Repeat for each skill — upload them one at a time. Once all your skills are uploaded they'll appear in the Skills list and are immediately available in any conversation.
Skills are global — once uploaded they work in every conversation, not just specific projects. Open any chat and type /idea-validator to use it.
Run your first command
Start a new conversation in Claude and type a slash command. The best place to start:
/idea-validator — paste in your product concept and it generates a structured brief, initial market sizing, and risk assessment. Most people have their first useful output in under 10 minutes.
Give Claude context in the same message for better results:

I'm building a spending account and debit card for independent home service contractors. They use a field service SaaS with ~8,000 active users. Average revenue per contractor is $180K/year. US market.

Skills 1–5 are included in the Starter Stack, skills 6–10 in the Builder Stack. The Full Stack includes all ten.
Tips for the best results
Chain skills together in one conversation
The skills are designed to build on each other. Run them in sequence — Claude carries context forward so the PRD already knows what the compliance mapper found, and the financial model already knows which BaaS you selected.
/idea-validator→ validates the concept/baas-selector→ picks your infrastructure/compliance-mapper→ maps every regulatory obligation/prd-generator→ full PRD built on all of the above/financial-model→ revenue model calibrated to your product/launch-checklist→ execution plan with compliance milestones
Iterate on the output
Skills generate a structured starting point, not a final document. After any output, push Claude further: "Make the compliance section specific to Texas", "Add a card adoption strategy section", "Rewrite the investor narrative for a pre-seed round."
Save your outputs as you go
Ask Claude to write key outputs to a file directly in the conversation: "Save the PRD to product-requirements.md." Claude will create the file in your current directory.
Troubleshooting
The slash command doesn't appear / isn't recognized
Make sure you uploaded the ZIP of the individual skill folder — not the full bundle ZIP and not a folder without zipping it. Each skill needs its own ZIP. Re-upload if needed via Customize → Skills → + → Upload a skill.
The output feels generic
Add more context about your product in the same message as the command. One specific paragraph about your industry, user type, and geography makes a significant difference in output quality.
